Dear FRHG Team Members
I am delighted to share some important news with all staff members.
More New Equipment
Last week the senior management team recommended three major purchases for approval by the Board of Directors. The recommendations for purchase are:
- 275 IV pumps for the hospitals; Rideout Memorial Hospital and Fremont Medical Center
- Two new endosuites for operating rooms 3 and 4 at Rideout.
- One new cath lab/vascular lab in operating room 1 at Rideout.
The board voted on and approved all three purchases totaling $3 million. These purchases represent our on-going commitment to provide the best quality of care through state of the art equipment available to the patients we serve.
New Board Members
Three of our dedicated physicians were nominated for a seat on our board of directors last week:
All three physicians were approved to join the board as voting members. These new board members join Drs. Jerry Gross, Jasbir Kang and Gurmail Brar for a total of six physicians on the Fremont Rideout Health Group Governing Board of Directors.
We extend a warm welcome to our newly appointed physician board members and look forward to their contributions in helping us achieve our mission to provide superior and compassionate healthcare to all we serve.
FRHG Board Hails the Efforts of Teamwork and Chief Nursing Officer, Jan Frank
In her monthly verbal report to the board of directors last week I asked Jan to share the story of outstanding team work by all members of the health care team in “making things happen” to open 2 West and 1 North. We were experiencing a very high census and had an ER overflowing with patients waiting for admission to the hospitals. Jan lauded the many efforts of the staff in accomplishing many tasks to open 2 West and 1 North quickly. All members of the board thanked Jan and the entire team with a round of applause for all that is being done daily to take care of so many ill patients.
Many thanks to our great team for continuing to strive for providing exceptional care, close to home.
